Gwinnett Masters Special Teams
Mastering Life Through Sports

GMST offers three or four sports per season, several sports throughout the year. Each athlete can only compete in one Sport per State Games season with Special Olympics GA but, as a member of GMST, is allowed to cross train in other sports. The season finale is the State Games program.

Greater Atlanta Pathways was founded to provide the life enhancements that turn disability into abilities. Parents, Teachers, Clergy, Police Officers, world-class Musicians, and concerned Gwinnett citizens rally to a common banner and cause. It's all for our athletes. We invite you to be a part of our community.

Special Olympics State Games are also offered by Special Olympics GA (SOGA). Any athlete 16 years or older can register through the GMST office. Refer to the GMST calendar for registration details and deadlines. A SOGA medical application must be current and on file before registration can occur.

Gwinnett County School Special Olympics has excellent services for school age youth with special needs. After graduation from high school or after reaching the age of 22, school services terminate. Gwinnett Masters and Greater Atlanta Pathways provide sports and other special needs programs for these "aged out" individuals.

In order to participate in Gwinnett Masters Special Teams Sports OR the State Games program, please read and complete the application found under the Sports Application tab.
